About College

       Cambridge Institute of Technology (CiTech), was established in the year 2007 managed by Umesh Educational Trust located at 
Krishnaraja Puram, which is the main hub of Software industries in East Bangalore. The institution has a vision and mission for 
offering high quality technical and management education not only catering to the students of surrounding areas and villages 
but also students from different states of India. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), 
Belagavi, Karnataka. 

         The institution is spread over a sprawling 12.5 acres of verdant campus and spacious buildings with well-equipped state-of-the
art laboratories and cutting edge technologies. The college has groomed itself for nine years since its inception.
Civil Engineering branch was established in the year 2014-15 with an intake of 60 students. 

About Student Chapter

                CITECH - Student Chapter of Indian Concrete Institute – Karnataka Bangalore Centre, was inaugurated on 7th November 2016 at Cambridge Institute of Technology, K R Puram, Bangalore.

     The dignitaries present on the dais were Dr. Ashwath, Chairman ICI-KBC, Er. Koushik Hajra ICI Secretary, Prof. Chandra Kishan, IISc, Bangalore, E-Construct Managing Director  Sandeep Pingale, Bangalore, Sri D K Mohan, Chairman, CITECH-Bangalore, and Dr. Suresh L, Pricipal, CITECH-Bangalore presided over the ceremony.

     Four Technical sessions were held by eminent spokesperson of various fields,Dr.Ashwath  spoke on the importance of the student chapters and its benefits to the students and delivered an inspirational speech on ‘Expectation of the industry from fresh Civil Engineering Graduates.
