It’s a day of milestone in the history of Dept.of Civil Engineering @ JNNCE, Shimoga. Students’ chapter of ICI with 102 student members opened at JNNCE on 02-11-2011.It is the 6th Student chapter in Karnataka with largest student members.Dr.R.V.Ranganath, Chairman; Bangalore chapter was the guest of honor and he inaugurated the Students chapter. Sri.S.V.Timmaiah, Secretary, National Education Society was the chief guest.Dr.Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Pricipal presided over the function. On this occasion organizational membership certificate recognizing the institute as permanent member of ICI was handed over to Dr.A.V.Pradeep kumar, Head, Dept., of Civil Engineering.Mr.Manjunath G.R.Associate Professor, Department of Civil engineering and co-coordinator of Students chapter made a welcome speech.
