About College
MG Charitable Trust founded the East Point Group of Institutions with an aim of making a difference to the education scenario, by providing a complete bouquet of learning. Engineering at East Point
East Point offers undergraduate and post graduate courses in engineering at East Point College of Engineering and Technology. This college is located at
Jnana Prabha campus of East Point surrounded by lush greenery; this campus has both the faculty and infrastructure to deliver education of highest standard.
Faculty includes some of the brightest talents from across the country. They come with immense knowledge in their fields and great deal of experience in teaching. Their knowledge and experience allow them to deliver their classes in the most engaged manner.
All the under graduate and post graduate programs in engineering offered at East Point are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Department of Civil Engineering
The Department of Civil Engineering has began in the year 2009-10. The department has drawn an ambitious plan of providing the best, infrastructural facilities and latest modern laboratory equipments and highly qualified faculty members. Department has an intake of 120 UG students and 18 PG students (Construction Technology) and research scholars. The Department has several ongoing R&D projects and offers consultancy services to the construction industry.
